Megapsychoda araripina
Taxonomy
Megapsychoda araripina was named by Azar and Nel (2002). Its type specimen is SMNH 2363, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (SMNK collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Megapsychoda.
