Taxonomy
Anthrenus (Nathrenus) electron was named by Háva et al. (2006). Its type specimen is MZ 3209, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Museum Ziemi collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
It was recombined as Anthrenus electron by Háva and Bukejs (2018).
