Ctenoptilus elongatus

Taxonomy
Ischnoneura elongata was named by Brongniart (1894). Its type specimen is MNHN DHT-R51216, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.

It was recombined as Ischnoneurilla elongata by Handlirsch (1919), Handlirsch (1922); it was recombined as Ctenoptilus elongatus by Béthoux and Nel (2005), Béthoux (2009), Aristov (2014).
