Petromantis maculipennis

Taxonomy
Permochorista maculipennis was named by Martynov (1932). Its type specimen is PIN 2334/172, a forewing (whole forewing with color pattern), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Soyana (PIN collection 2334), which is in a Roadian lagoonal sandstone in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Petromantis maculipennis by Willmann (1978), Novokshonov (1997).
