Neoglyptatelus originalis
Taxonomy
Neoglyptatelus originalis was named by Carlini et al. (1997). Its type specimen is IGM 183153, a carapace (partial dorsal carapace and isolated osteoderms), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Duke-ING Locality 031 (La Venta Fauna), which is in a Laventan terrestrial horizon in the Villavieja Formation of Colombia. It is the type species of Neoglyptatelus.
