Limaia conspicua
Taxonomy
Limaia conspicua was named by Martins-Neto and Vulcano (1988). Its type specimen is GP/IT-1625, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (IGC-USP collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Limaia.
