Taxonomy
Jibeigomphus xinboensis was named by Hong (1984). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Village 8, Xinbo district, Weichang County, which is in a Hauterivian lacustrine - large shale in the Dabeigou Formation of China. It is the type species of Jibeigomphus.
