Cyprinodon primulus

Taxonomy
Cyprinodon primulus was named by Cockerell (1936). Its type specimen is AMNH 24521, a dermal scale, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Ranges east of Sierra Santa Barbara, which is in a Paleocene lacustrine - small mudstone in the Maíz Gordo Formation of Argentina.
