Taxonomy
Otroacizzia soriae was named by Peñalver and García-Gimeno (2006). Its type specimen is MCN CP 06-1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (MCV coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
It was recombined as Euryconus soriae by Burckhardt and Ouvrard (2012), Burckhardt et al. (2021).
