Taxonomy
Dzeregia ampla was named by Ponomarenko (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 2590/15, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Onon (PIN collection 2590), which is in a Berriasian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Mangutskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
