Marquettia metzeli
Taxonomy
Olivierina metzeli was named by Pierce and Kirkby (1959). Its type specimen is Kirkby 2747, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Near Alder, Ruby River, which is in a Whitneyan lacustrine shale in the Renova Formation of Montana.
It was recombined as Marquettia metzeli by Carpenter (1959), Lu et al. (2019).
