Adocetus buprestoides
Taxonomy
Adocetus buprestoides was named by Scudder (1900). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bluffs at head of Twin Creek (Newberry collection), which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Adocetus.
