Desmatolagus veletus
Taxonomy
Desmatolagus veletus was named by Lopatin (1998). Its type specimen is PIN, no. 4516/208, a tooth (Left P3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed IV), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.
