Mylacris virginiana
Taxonomy
Exochomylacris virginiana was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 25634, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Clendennin, which is in a Westphalian terrestrial sandstone in the Charleston Sandstone Formation of West Virginia. It is the type species of Exochomylacris.
It was recombined as Mylacris virginiana by Durden (1969).
