Orthomylacris cordiformis
Taxonomy
Phthinomylacris cordiformis was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 38770, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Port Griffith railway cut, near Pittston, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in the Llewellyn Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was recombined as Orthomylacris cordiformis by Durden (1969).
