Proteleates centralis
Taxonomy
Proteleates centralis was named by Wickham (1914). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Wilson Ranch, Florissant, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large horizon in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Proteleates.
