Phloeosinus squalidens

Taxonomy
Hylastes squalidens was named by Scudder (1890). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Scarborough Bluffs (Hinde collection), which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine deltaic siltstone in the Scarborough Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Phloeosinus squalidens by Hopkins (1900), Wood and Bright (1992).
