Blattogryllus karatavicus

Taxonomy
Blattogryllus karatavicus was named by Rasnitsyn (1976). Its type specimen is PIN 2554/225, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2554), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Blattogryllus.
