Hercostomus bauckhorni

Taxonomy
Gymnopternus bankhornius was named by Meunier (1914). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Bauckhorn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large lignite in Germany.

It was corrected as Gymnopternus bauckhorni by Meunier (1915); it was recombined as Hercostomus bauckhorni by Evenhuis (1994).
