Taxonomy

Entomobrya was named by Rondani (1861). It is extant. It is the type genus of Entomobryidae, Entomobryinae, Entomobryoidea.

It was assigned to Entomobryidae by Laurentiaux (1953) and Park and Downing (2001); and to Entomobryinae by Christiansen (1971) and Sánchez-García and Engel (2016).
