Taxonomy

Lepidotrix piliferum was named by Menge (1854). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Danziger Naturkundemuseum Menge collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was replaced with Lepisma lepidothrix by von Olfers (1907); it was misspelled as Lepidothrix pilifera by Silvestri (1912); it was corrected as Lepidotrix pilifera by Kaplin (2018).

Synonyms

Klebsia horrens was named by von Olfers (1907). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was synonymized subjectively with Lepidotrix pilifera by Silvestri (1912).
Micropa stylifera was named by von Olfers (1907). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
