Lithanomala crassa
Taxonomy
Proteroscarabaeus crassus was named by Ponomarenko (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 4085/12, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Leskovo (PIN collection 4085), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - small horizon in the Leskovskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Lithanomala crassa by Nikolajev (1992), Krell (2000) and Nikolajev (2007).
