Lithanomala sibirica
Taxonomy
Proteroscarabaeus sibiricus was named by Ponomarenko (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 4085/67, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Leskovo (PIN collection 4085), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - small horizon in the Leskovskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Lithanomala sibirica by Nikolajev (1992), Krell (2000), Nikolajev (2007).
