Taxonomy

Synarmoge was named by Handlirsch (1910). Its type is Synarmoge ferrarii. It is the type genus of Synarmogidae.

It was assigned to Lithomanteidae by Kukalová (1969); and to Synarmogidae by Handlirsch (1910), Handlirsch (1922), Laurentiaux (1953), Prokop and Ren (2007).

It was synonymized subjectively with Synarmoge by Laurentiaux (1953).
