Cratotabanus stonemyomorphus

Taxonomy
Cratotabanus stonemyomorphus was named by Martins-Neto and Kucera-Santos (1994). Its type specimen is UnG/1T-48, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, Pedra Branca quarry (UnG collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Cratotabanus.
