Taxonomy
Dictyomylacris jacobsi was named by Meunier (1907). It is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN later coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
It was recombined as Paromylacris jacobsi by Meunier (1912), Meunier (1921); it was recombined as Anacoloblatta jacobsi by Handlirsch (1922); it was considered a nomen dubium by Handlirsch (1920); it was recombined as Sooblatta jacobsi by Schneider (1983), Schneider (1983).
