Sphaerentofurca aranea
Taxonomy
Sphaerentofurca aranea was named by Dumitrica (2013). Its type specimen is film 43800, coll. MGL 96893 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mue 22, Mülheim radiolarians, Solnhofen, which is in a Tithonian open shallow subtidal wackestone in the Mörnsheim Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Sphaerentofurca.
