Taxonomy
Magnasupplephlebia kallweita was named by Zessin (1982). Its type specimen is LD 948(949), a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Zessin collection), which is in a Toarcian marine claystone in Germany. It is the type species of Magnasupplephlebia.
