Proschizomus petrunkevitchi
Taxonomy
Proschizomus petrunkevitchi was named by Dunlop and Horrocks (1996). Its type specimen is BMNH I. 7912, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Shipley Manor (Digby) Claypit, which is in a Westphalian B delta plain claystone in the Middle Coal Measures Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Proschizomus.
