Uintascorpio halandrasorum
Taxonomy
Uintascorpio halandrasi was named by Perry (1995). Its type specimen is DMNH 6004, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Site B, Rio Blanco Country Store (DMNH coll), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Green River Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Uintascorpio.
It was corrected as Uintascorpio halandrasorum by Santiago-Blay et al. (2004).
