Mesolobites tuberculatus
Taxonomy
Lobites tuberculatus was named by Dunstan (1923). Its type specimen is GSQ 342, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1915-1916 collection), which is in a Norian pond siltstone in the Blackstone Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Mesolobites tuberculatus by Carpenter (1986).
