Taxonomy
Lithosmylidia baronne was named by Lambkin (1988). Its type specimen is QM F14358, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Road cutting 3 km ENE of Gayndah, which is in an Anisian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Gayndah Formation of Australia.
