It was assigned to Chironominae by Seredszus and Wichard (2007); to Tanytarsini by Zakrzewska and Giłka (2014) and Giłka and Zakrzewska (2015); and to Zavreliina by Zakrzewska et al. (2016), Giłka and Zakrzewska (2020) and Zakrzewska and Jankowska (2021).
