Taxonomy

Electrotribus theryi was named by Hustache (1942). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (MNH Lyon collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

Synonyms

Paleopissodes weigangae was named by Ulke (1947). Its type specimen is ANSP 8254, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, ANSP collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Electrotribus weigangae by Kuschel (1992), Alonso-Zarazaga and Lyal (1999), Legalov (2015) and Legalov and Bukejs (2018); it was synonymized subjectively with Electrotribus theryi by Legalov (2019).
Isalcidodes macellus was named by Voss (1953). Its type specimen is GPIH 200, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Scheele collection, University of Hamburg, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was synonymized subjectively with Electrotribus weigangae by Kuschel (1992), Alonso-Zarazaga and Lyal (1999) and Legalov (2015); it was synonymized subjectively with Electrotribus theryi by Legalov (2019).
Anchorthorrhinus incertus was named by Voss (1953). Its type specimen is GPIH 199, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Scheele collection, University of Hamburg, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was synonymized subjectively with Electrotribus weigangae by Kuschel (1992), Alonso-Zarazaga and Lyal (1999) and Legalov (2015); it was synonymized subjectively with Electrotribus theryi by Legalov (2019).
