It was reranked as the subtribe Derelomina by Bouchard et al. (2011), Legalov (2019).

It was assigned to Curculioninae by Alonso-Zarazaga and Lyal (1999), Rheinheimer (2007), Legalov (2015); and to Acalyptini by Bouchard et al. (2011), Legalov (2019).
