Anas talarae
Taxonomy
Anas talarae was named by Campbell (1979). Its type specimen is ROM 12904, a limb element (left humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Talara Tar Seeps, which is in a Pleistocene tar horizon in Peru.
It was recombined as Callonetta talarae by Tambussi et al. (2023).
