Protorthophlebia (Protorthophlebia) obscura

Taxonomy
Orthophlebioides obscurus was named by Martynov (1925). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Galkino (PIN collection 1789), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

It was recombined as Mesopanorpa obscura by Martynov (1937), Martynova (1948), Willmann (1978), Zhang (1996); it was recombined as Protorthophlebia (Protorthophlebia) obscura by Hong and Zhang (2007), Hong and Guo (2010).
