Asiodiplatys speciosus
Taxonomy
Asiodiplatys speciosus was named by Vishnyakova (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 2239/376, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2239), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Asiodiplatys.
