Fangshania punctata
Taxonomy
Fangshania punctata was named by Hong (1981). Its type specimen is Tianjin Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources Pl 1002, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Lushangfen, Fangshan District (Tianjin collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Lushangfen Formation of China. It is the type species of Fangshania.
