Onthophagus arvernus
Taxonomy
Onthophagus arvernus was named by Piton and Théobald (1939). Its type specimen is Rudel 31, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Puy-Saint-Jean, which is in an Oligocene crater lake limestone in France.
