Arhopalus pavitus
Taxonomy
Criocephalus pavitus was named by Cockerell (1927). Its type specimen is BMNH Sternberg 105B, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (BMNH Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
It was recombined as Arhopalus pavitus by Linsley (1942).
