Taxonomy
Taublatta hesta was named by Lin (1986). Its type specimen is NIGP 70030, a hindwing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Guan-50, Guanyintan, Qiyang County, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Guanyintan Formation of China.
