Paragrypnites jagemanni
Taxonomy
Paragrypnites jagemanni was named by Dolin (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 2997/1980, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2997), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Paragrypnites.
