Ageratus ponomarenkoi
Taxonomy
Ageratus ponomarenkoi was named by Dolin (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 1789/35, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Galkino (PIN collection 1789), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Ageratus.
