Neosimplicius medialis
Taxonomy
Neosimplicius medialis was named by Carpenter (1934). Its type specimen is CM 6905, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Swatara gap, Sharp Mountain, Tremont, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in the Llewellyn Formation of Pennsylvania. It is the type species of Neosimplicius.
