Taxonomy
Archimesoblatta tendencia was named by Vršanský (2003). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/145, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 23/22), which is in a Barremian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Ulan-Argalant Formation of Mongolia.
