Taxonomy
Solusipanorpa gibbidorsa was named by Lin (1980). Its type specimen is NIGP 38585, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Zi2, Ziyahuang, east Zhuji City, which is in an Aptian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Hengshan Formation of China. It is the type species of Solusipanorpa.
