Neliana maculata

Taxonomy
Nelia maculata was named by Martins-Neto and Vulcano (1989). Its type specimen is CV-1777, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (Vulcano collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Neliana, Nelia.

It was recombined as Neliana maculata by Martins-Neto (1992), Martins-Neto (1997), Martins-Neto (2000), Martins-Neto (2002), Makarkin et al. (2017).
