Taxonomy
Petrochorista sojanensis was named by Martynova (1948). Its type specimen is PIN 94/1151, a hindwing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Soyana (Iva Gora, PIN collection 94), which is in a Roadian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
