Taxonomy
Eremomukha (Eremomukha) tsokotukha was named by Mostovski (1996). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/9309, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 87/10), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.

It was recombined as Eremomukha tsokotukha by Grimaldi and Barden (2016).
